We are a Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 school with a current enrollment of approximately 360 students and just one of 32 elementary schools in the Lakehead District School Board.

The staff at Westmount are committed to inspiring all children to learn within a community that fosters respect, honesty, responsibility, self-discipline, empathy, and a positive attitude. Our goal is to prepare students with the vital knowledge and skills they need for success while at the same time encouraging creativity, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. We believe the responsibility for learning is shared by students, teachers and parents and we look forward to our partnership with you as we work to accomplish these goals.
